We're heading to Ecuador! A short overnight in Guayaquil, where riots related to drug lords, violent jailbreaks, and imminent war with Mexico have recently interrupted daily life. Then a plane to the Galapagos and a short hop to Isabela Island. If we make it (the plane is very tiny, the weight limit is very low, and our bags are very large), the adventure will begin!
